Environmental management services activity is one of the main businesses of WHB.

Our involvement in the environmental management services started way back in 1995 through its subsidiary, Worldwide Landfills Sdn Bhd (WLSB) where the company operates, manages and maintains a domestic waste sanitary landfill at Air Hitam, Puchong.

After almost a decade in the landfill business, WHB has broadened its environmental management operations by venturing into other related areas as follows :-

• A 2-MW landfill gas-powered generation plant
• Inert Waste Landfill in Dengkil, Selangor
• Domestic Waste Transfer Station at Section 21, Shah Alam, Selangor
• A joint venture with World Waste Solution GmbH, a company incorporated in Germany for the supply and building of transfer stations

In short, WHB is one of the leaders in the environmental management business in the country. Our expertise, experience and knowledge stand WHB in good stead in the planning, development and implementation of the following environmental management key business areas:-
