Participation Eligibility

  • The Tenderer shall be a legally registered company in Malaysia or its country of origin, or a duly established JV/Consortium of legally registered Malaysian entities, holding all valid registrations, licenses, permits and approvals required to execute the Works.​
  • The Tenderer/JV-Consortium member shall possess a valid CIDB Registration Certificate under Grade G7, ​
  • The Tenderer/JV-Consortium member shall have at least 100MW capacity on one (1) utility-scale solar PV / Large Scale Solar (LSS) project of comparable size and complexity within the last five (5) years, demonstrating experience in projects connected at 132kV voltage level.​
  • The Tenderer/JV-Consortium member shall demonstrate adequate financial capability and resources to undertake and complete the Works, including sufficient working capital and financial capacity.​
  • The Tenderer/JV-Consortium shall possess adequate technical expertise, qualified personnel, plant, equipment and project execution capabilities for the design, engineering, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning of the LSS project.​
  • The Tenderer/JV-Consortium shall have registered Suruhanjaya Tenaga Class A.
  • Any JV-Consortium including foreign participant(s) shall include a binding arrangement with a Malaysian-incorporated CIDB G7 contractor holding at least 30% participation in the JV-Consortium.
