INAUGURATION CEREMONY OF 5.1 MW BATANG KALI SMALL HYDRO POWER PLANT

BATANG KALI, 23rd January 2025 - The 5.1 MW Batang Kali Small Hydro Power Plant inauguration ceremony was a momentous occasion graced by YAB Dato’ Menteri Besar Selangor, alongside distinguished guests including YB Dato' Dr. Ahmad Fadzli Bin Ahmad Tajuddin, YB Dato' Ir Izham Bin Hashim, YBhg. Dato' Johary bin Anuar, YBhg. Dato' Mahmud Abbas, and YBrs Encik Koh Keng Sen.

YAB Dato’ Menteri Besar was taken on an exclusive tour of the facility before officially launching the plant and delivering an insightful keynote address that demonstrated the importance of renewable energy and sustainable development for Selangor’s future.

Our Group CEO, Datin Paduka Norazlina Zakaria, also delivered an inspiring welcome speech, setting the stage for what this milestone means not only for our company but for the communities we serve.

This achievement is a testament to our commitment to advancing sustainable energy and reducing carbon footprints as part of our renewable energy journey. A special shout-out to our incredible hydro team, led by Alif Shah, Chief Operating Officer of Renewable Energy, for driving this project to fruition.
