PORT KLANG, 1st March 2025 - Worldwide Holdings Berhad (WHB) proudly announces that the Pulau Indah Power Plant (PIPP) has officially reached its Commercial Operation Date (COD), marking a major milestone in our journey within Malaysia’s energy sector.
What began as a bold vision has transformed into a fully operational 1,200 MW power plant, poised to power industries, businesses, and communities across the nation. The road to this achievement was anything but simple. It demanded unwavering resilience, strategic problem-solving, and relentless teamwork.
PIPP is more than just our first national-level energy project. It is also the first high-impact state-led initiative of its kind to be fully developed and delivered under WHB's leadership. This project represents not only the culmination of years of planning and execution but also a promise kept driving progress and deliver sustainable energy solutions.
