SHAH ALAM, 20th February 2025 - Worldwide Holdings Berhad took center stage at the launch of Selangor State’s 2025 Waqf Month, held at the Shah Alam Convention Centre (SACC), with a generous corporate cash waqf contribution of RM200,000. The contribution, presented by Group Chief Executive Officer Datin Paduka Norazlina Zakaria, was handed over to Perbadanan Wakaf Selangor as part of the company’s commitment to social and economic development through waqf initiatives.
The launch event was officiated by the Chief Minister of Selangor, YAB Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari, alongside YBhg. Dato’ Haji Ibrahim bin Haji Mohd Yusof, Chairman of Perbadanan Wakaf Selangor.
Worldwide Holdings’ involvement highlights the critical role of corporate entities in advancing sustainable waqf practices for the benefit of the wider community. This initiative is expected to strengthen ongoing efforts to empower waqf in Selangor, with the aim of delivering long-term, impactful benefits to the ummah.
